Europe Q4 2025 Roundup: Volunteer Cleanups, Drug-Prevention Outreach and Human-Rights Education

Across the last quarter of 2025, volunteer groups linked to Scientology humanitarian campaigns highlighted a range of Volunteer Ministers Europe local activities in several European countries. The quarter’s roundup covered neighbourhood cleanups and public-space restoration, alongside drug-awareness distribution initiatives and UDHR-based human-rights education activities delivered through partner programmes.

Activities were reported in several countries including Italy, France, Czechia, Denmark and Switzerland, with volunteers cooperating with local communities, small businesses and civic organisations. Some initiatives also referenced *The Way to Happiness*, a secular moral code written by L. Ron Hubbard, as a framework for everyday responsibility and respectful conduct.

Ivan Arjona-Pelado, the Church of Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, noted: “Europe’s values are strengthened when citizens choose practical responsibility—keeping public spaces clean, sharing factual prevention tools, and teaching the next generation that rights and dignity apply to everyone. Social cohesion grows through consistent, local action.”
